As an avid self planned traveller all my life, you would think I would have done this "northern lights thing" by myself. But the minute my husband and I decided to go for it, Vicky was the first person to come to my mind. My goal: catch northrn lights; my dates: fixed, The rest: Vicky. She found the perfect place for us at Lyngen Lodge. With the logistics and small hurdles we faced, Vicky was right on top of it, informing us, planning alt3rnatives and getting us where we needed to. She even planned out our transit day in Tromso. We showed up with nary a worry and enjoyed the whole experience. It was truly magical. The five days we spent in the arctic gave us everything from physical adventurous stuff like dog sledding, snow shoeing to relaxing stay at a beautiful lodge. Vicky chose this place for ius as it has a high probability of northern lights and despite the forecast, th4 skies cleare out for a couple of days for us to catch the lights. Thank you Vicky!

I began working with Vicky a year before my 3 week trip in May 2025, to Scotland & Ireland, to get her ideas of how best to travel there. Awhile later Vicky planned a tour of Ireland for a group that I joined with her and CIE tours. Vicky was also extremely helpful and creative with my individual plans in Scotland, booking the most incredible hotel in Edinburgh, trains and all of my flights. Her availability at all times to answer large and small needs was really amazing! She alerted me to ETA requirements to enter GB, advised reasonable and excellent travel insurance and was able to get discounts for things I couldn’t do alone. Additionally, Vicky was a wonderful part of our Irish tour which made it even better!! I highly recommend Vicky for any trip someone is planning!

Vicky and her team at Made for Spain and Portugal arranged a wonderful and most memorable two-week trip to Spain and Portugal for our group of four to celebrate my wife's and my anniversary and a special birthday. Our trip itinerary was customized to our requests and balanced a perfect blend of solo and guided travel. We covered quite a bit of ground, (Barcelona, Zaragoza, San Sebastian, La Rioja wine country, Bilbao, flight to Porto, Porto, train to Lisboa, Lisboa, Sintra, Cascais and Estoril), all hotels were high quality (4 star), and centrally located, and our guides and drivers made sure that we made every connection. We had a highly customized and private trip that covered far more territory in depth than comparable trips arranged by quality tour operators (Tauck), at a very comparable cost. Vicky did a phenomenal job coordinating my extended family's recent trip to Europe, which included 4 countries and 4 family groups. There were a lot of moving pieces to the puzzle, and Vicky was able to get everyone where they wanted to go. The lodging accommodations at each destination were great and she gave us ample ideas of things to do and places to each at each location. Right before the trip, we were given access to an app that provided all of the information for each step of the trip, including prepayments to hotels and copies of tickets and itineraries for day trips and travel. She was always available during the planning to answer every little question we had and was very responsive while we were traveling as well when we needed her. She made it so easy to be able to take this trip of a lifetime, and stayed within our budgets as well! We were all very pleased with the service Vicky provided to us.

Took my first trip to Europe in November 2019. Can't imagine having to plan all the transportation, tours & accommodations on my own. Vicky did a fabulous job from start to finish. There was a glitch in one of our train rides just few days before we left for our trip. (some kind of track repair/damage issue?) Vicky handled a last minute change from train to a short flight and then helped us with the refund for the tickets when we returned home. This was the third family trip that Vicky - Destination:Uncharted has put together for us and it was once again the best experience.
